Solar Impulse

2015 marked the first attempt at a round-the-world Solar Flight, from Abu Dhabi to Hawaii: it was the longest solar flight ever achieved in aviation history.

In 2016, Bertrand Piccard and André Borschberg, completed the first circumnavigation of the globe without fuel. Aboard their solar aircraft, an actual flying laboratory made up of clean technologies, they flew 25 thousand miles to promote the use of renewable energy as well as energy efficiency on the ground, for a better quality of life.

This mission is a source of inspiration to scientists and pioneers alike. Numerous events were set up at their stopover points, to connect with local initiatives in solar and renewable energy operations. The message has been shared with schools, universities, industry and politicians around the world.

We are very proud to have played a part in this epic journey as “Official Team Clothing Supplier".

We created and managed the official team and partner collection; supporting both the team and partners with branded apparel and accessories solutions.

The Official Pilot Jacket worn by Bertrand Piccard and André Borschberg was developed and designed by us, specifically for the round-the-world mission. Needless to say, the jacket comprises innovative tailoring, exquisite quality and a high measure of comfort.

The Round the World Blue Lightweight Pilot Jacket is a lighter version of the Official Pilot Jacket, ideal for warmer climates and seasons.
